Love Revealed... (70)

Love Revealed
When I was at school I worked for my teachers... At university, it was very harsh, no one cared... In fact there were more people there who wished me ill than wished me well... I realised that my teachers at school really cared for me... They took time out to chat to me when I was down and they knew my schoolwork in and out and knew how to help me in the areas where I was struggling... There was none of this at university...

That's why I realised I excelled at school and not at university... (Also suffering from depression and then paranoia didn't help...)

I just kept getting knocked down until I stayed down... Then in the summer months afterwards I stayed in a hospital - quite seriously ill from the whole experience...

That's the key - I worked hard at school - it was for me & my teachers... :-I

Now it is 5 years later and I am in a good job... (After doing temporary work for a short time I became employed at an architect's office near Oxford...) I have been there since... And yes, my work and I am flourishing... :-) I work for my boss - who is good and encourages and values me and my work... Things have been looking up... I started on a modest salary and now earn the same if not more than some who have Part 2/3 qualification :-P

I secretly always wanted my architectural education to be more like a carpenter's apprentice in a company... Who can afford to go to university and live off loans and not much else?...
