27th September 2006:
I have
been slowly re-organising my things and throwing some things away - mainly paper stuff at the moment... I am a hoarder and so it is very difficult for me to do this... However, I am making progress and throw out to the
recycle bin a sufficient wad of paper things... Next will be to organise my clothes more...
22nd September 2006:
Richard Branson is pledging £1 billion towards research against global warming... It
might be a good marketing ploy to justify his airline - but we have to work with businesses I suppose...
18th September 2006:
Am at work at the moment... lunch hour... Am looking forward to
watching the RIBA sterling prize on TV... I got an invite :-) but it cost too much £400 for 2 people to go... plus I suppose I am not 'up there' and so will retire modestly and watch it on TV... plus then you get the
interesting commentary that goes on... ;-)
Am into being frugal at the moment, this weekend we spent aprox £3 each - this was on food... - (we had a lot of stuff in the cupboard though)...
This weekend
and week I am re-organising my room (filing)... already it is taking shape...12th September 2006:
I was recently in a hospital and I saw an anorexic girl... She looked as if she were neither
male or female because her bone structure was so pronounced... My heart went out to her... I wished that she would get better and see whatever it was that was making her anorexic - go away! She had probably been hurt -
or her world had spun out of control... and now she stares out vacantly - residing in limbo-land... I wished to say to her that whatever was hurting her, it wasn't important... If someone hurt you, they are nothing to
you... don't let them do this to you - you are self-harming - but they are laughing at you still - and will do even if you get iller and iller... PLEASE, break free... - don't let them do this to you...
8th September 2006:
Al Gore is taking a stance on Climate control :-)
5th September 2006:
Been feeling generally depressed lately... been up and down - but managing to do things but
for some reason they don't suffice and the gloom drifts over and clouds everything again... I have made progress in so many things recently but the happiness doesn't seem to last long...
Work is going ok... we
are really busy... I generally like my work because it is quite varied... I quite like doing complicated computer tasks - things where you have to work out the logistics of the how you are going to do it etc... plus
also the design presentation side of things... and then the odd other stuff - filing... days are very varied... |
